He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth'Horty'Middleton; his parents, James Herman Middleton and Elver Izetta (Ellzey); and his siblings, Louise Cochran, Maxine Oakes, Paula Lilly, Thomas Middleton, Billy R. Middleton, Jimmy Middleton, Bobby Joe Middleton, Donnie Middleton and Dennis Middleton.

He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Middleton (Donna), Timothy Middleton (Donna) and Tina Lowery (Rod); his grandchildren, Amanda Cruz (Jorge), Allison Guynes (Tanner), Emily Middleton, Tyler Middleton (Annette) and Lindsay Fountain (Wesley); his great grandchildren, Wayman, Branson, Elowyn and Felicity Fountain; and his siblings, Charles R. Middleton, Richard Middleton, Sybil Toombs and Maurine Ward.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (2616 Pine Ave, Heidelberg, MS 39439). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
