We announce the death of Lindsey Johnson Fairley of Hernando, Mississippi, who passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Fairley and Paul Fairley; his brother Douglas Fairley; his son Lindsey O. Fairley; and his former wife Ella Lea Wells Fairley.

He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Nell Ledbetter Fairley; his sister Paula Partezana (Richard) of Covington, Indiana; his children, Lisa McCord (Donald) of Pacific Palisades, Kimber Britner (Mark) of Charleston, Lea Fairley Dutton (Douglas) of Orange Beach, Alabama and Carter Fairley (Tobi) of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Terri Griffin (Rick) of Olive Branch, Barry Ledbetter (Kitty) of Jonesboro, Arkansas., Dedrick McCord, Gabriel Everett, Chloe Everett, Joshua Everett, Sam Everett, Wells Dutton, Pierce Dutton and Ellison Fairley; and his great grandchildren, Winnie Everett, William Everett and Theodore Everett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, bonus grandchildren, and bonus great-grandchildren.
