She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Johnson; her parents, Isom McCormick and Ruthie McCormick; and her brothers, Laverl McCormick and Eugene McCormick.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shelia Sowell, Phyllis Barnard and Pamela Hollingsworth; and her siblings, Elouise Lafayette, John and Kenneth McCormick. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
