It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Lee Brewer of Hernando, Mississippi, who passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Opal Lee Brewer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Boleyn and Mary Furnish Boleyn; her sisters, Edna Marie and Janie Johnson (Harold); her husband George Edward Brewer; and her daughters, Patricia Gale Ruppert and Mary Elizabeth Dees.

She is survived by: her brother Kerry; her children, Beverly Cheryl, Julia Dianne (Anne), Edna Rene and Barry; her grandchildren, Beverly, Anne and Rene; and her siblings, Rheba (Bill), Virginia (Henry) and Jim (Angie). She is also survived by her 32 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren, her siblings, their spouses, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
