She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Hale and Louise Whitten Hale; and her brother James W. Hale, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Stevens (David), Forrest Foster, Kim Murphree (Keith), Katherine Vance (Brandon) and John Foster (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Anna Rhinewalt (Dustin), Anthony Foster, John Stevens (Robin), Calvert Murphree (Kaylin), Tawnie Stalder Jake Foster (Richard), Michael Murphree (Paula) and Claire Foster; and her sister Katherine Hale Floyd.
