She was predeceased by: her former husband Raymond Savage Fiveash; her husband Sherwood Gray; her daughter Delois Ledford (Bubba); her granddaughter Stephanie Sutton; her parents, William Robert Hamilton Minor and Cynthia Susan "Susie" Anderson Minor; her sisters, Ione James, Beatrice Burnett, Audrey Shelby and Vaideen Whitehead; and her granddaughter-in-law Robin Fiveash.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials are sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice.
