He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Janice Dunlap Wilder; and his parents, James Wilder and Mary Wilder. He is survived by: his wife Neva; his sons, Roger (Kelly), Mike (Nan) and Joey (Heather); his sister Anita Fitzgerald (Gregg); his stepdaughter Elizabeth Richardson (Bryan); his grandchildren, Taylor Wilder, Ashton Wilder, Chandler Henderson (Jay), Connor Wilder, Carson Wilder, Myles Wilder and Lorelai Wilder; his great grandchild Channing Henderson; his sibling's children, Kyle Fitzgerald (Catherine) and Emily Fitzgerald; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cannon Fitzgerald, Clay Fitzgerald, Caroline Fitzgerald and Collins Fitzgerald.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Funeral Service, Inc. (700 MS-15, New Albany, MS 38652).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude or Baptist Children's Village.
