She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl McCallum and Georgia Goode McCallum; her husband W. C. "Dick" Rutherford; her children, David Micheal Rutherford and Phyllis Rutherford Kelly; and her siblings, Jack McCallum, Lynn McCallum, Joe McCallum, Vleet McCallum, F. A. "Red" McCallum, Alene Randolph and Dorothy Forrester.
She is survived by: her friend Billie Yates; her grandchildren, Micheal Kelly (Susan) of Rienzi, P. J, Kelly (Andrea) of New Albany, Carolee Bullwinkel of New Albany, Justin Rutherford of New Albany and Beth Roberson (Luke) of New Albany; her great grandchildren, Holley Burks (Mike), Jordan Kelly, Cora Beth Kelly, Hunter Berryman, Gunnar Kirkman (Tessa), Pacey Kelly, Khloe Braddock, Ellie Estes, Montana Bullwinkel, Peyton Bullwinkel, Jack Rutherford, Annabelle Roberson and Brody Roberson; her great great grandchildren, Easton Pannell, Josie Suddeth, Tripp Burks and Sadie Burks; her daughter-in-law Pam Rutherford; and her sister-in-law Peggy McCallum.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Flat Rock Baptist Church (3753 MS-2, Hickory Flat, MS 38633). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Flat Rock Cemetery.
In keeping with Ms. Twilla's wishes, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
