The memory of Clara C. Holeman of Hickory, Mississippi, born in Clanton, Alabama, who passed away on April 14, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her former husband Louis Pack, Sr.; her husbands, Eldon Wright and James Holeman, Jr.; her parents, Julius Reed and Iris Gertiemae Baker Culp; her grandchild Gage Wright; her siblings, J. R. Culp, Jr., Jim Culp, Dorothy Pettigrew, Marian Norman and Blanche Ragan; her stepchildren, Ralph Pack and Sandra Parr; and her stepgrandson Phillip Wooldridge.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Hopkins (Rick) of New Braunfels, TX, Suzan Walker (Curtis) of Hickory, MS and Russell Wright (Katrina) of Mexico Beach, FL; her stepchildren, Louis Pack, Jr. (Sheila) of Schertz, TX, Eric Holeman (Hanh) of La Porte, TX, Pam Schmidt (Max) of Helotes, TX, Cindy Stepinoff (Steve) of Cypress, TX and Toni Oakland of Tomball, TX; and her grandchild Thomasville. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; one sister.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newton County Funeral Home South (100 Old Hwy 15 Loop, Newton, MS 39345). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery (248 Honor Circle, Newton, MS 39345).
