He was predeceased by: his parents, Bro. William Everett Butler and Etta Launa Wedgeworth Butler; and his brothers, James Butler and Clarence Butler. He is survived by: his wife Frances Butler of Hickory; his son Mike Butler (Karla) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Alex Williams (Hunter), Jayden Butler and Karmyn Rivers Butler; and his brothers, Billy Butler of Union and Randy Butler (Darlene) of Union. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
