He is survived by: his wife Jackie Hollingsworth Everett; his children, Brian Everett (Lisa) and Tanya Johannsen (Eric) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Shelby Harris (Chris) of Decatur, Brandon Horn (Hannah) of Conehatta and Ty Everett of Hickory; his great grandchildren, Raylen Horn, Kendall Harris, Kristie Harris, Emmy Lou Harris, Everleigh Mae Horn, Elliott Harris and Riley "Gus" Horn; and his nephew Jake.
