Carolyn Rose, born on January 9, 1932, passed away on October 16, 2026. Carolyn leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Bernice Hill and Melnot Stokes Hill; her son Charles William "Bubba" Rose, Jr.; and her brother Jimmie S. Hill. She is survived by: her husband Charles William "Bill" Rose of Holcomb; her sister Mary Woods Hobgood of Grenada; and her children, Mike Rose of Greenwood, Jay Rose (Terrell) of Carroll County, Amber Rose of Jackson and Nancy Rose of Trenton. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service (4817 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901). A graveside service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sparta Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at the Rose Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Grenada Church of God or St. John's Methodist Church in Greenwood.
