He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Melton; his son Ronnie Lee Melton (Shelby); his grandchildren, Megan Melton Todd (Dustin), Savannah Melton, Charlie Melton, Logan Randall and Kirbi Randall; his great grandchildren, Caleb Chrestman, Taylor Todd, Everette Todd and Kehlani Randall; his siblings, Martha Harrison, Brenda Franklin and Ronnie Melton; and his great-niece Isabel Rose Mullen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
