It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nona McCalop of Holcomb, Mississippi, born in Carrollton, Mississippi, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, C. D. McCalop and Dorothy Jean Wood McCalop; and her brother Michael Wayne "Big Mike" McCalop (Danny Ledford). She is survived by : her brothers, Donald McCalop (Lynda) of Holcomb, Cyril McCalop of Holcomb and Guy McCalop of Holcomb; her nieces, Donna Brown (Shane), Leigh Ann Melton (Ryan), Beth Donahoe and McKenzie McCalop; her great-niece Molly Melton; and her great-nephews, Joey Brown and Calop Brown (Olivia).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McKibben & Guinn Funeral Service (4817 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901).
