She was predeceased by: her daughter Rhonda Book; her parents, Leroy Pepper and Margie Wells Pepper; her grandchild Scottie Book; and her brother-in-law Danny Boyd.
She is survived by: her husband David Jones of Hollandale, MS; her children, Chris Jones (Jennifer) of Columbia, Marjorie Pierce (Reggie) of Columbia and Michelle McKenzie (Ben) of Columbia; her siblings, Raymond Pepper (Candace), Velda Russell (Mike), Peggy Smith (Keith) and Patricia Boyd; her grandchildren, David Winborne, Bethany Wallace (Ryan), Casey McKenzie, Drake Jones, Noah Jones and Darron Pierce; and her son-in-law Coy Book of Jonesville, LA.. She is also survived by 6 Great Grand Children; A host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lakeview Church of God (136 Old Hwy 98 E, Columbia, MS 39429). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the same location.
