It is with sadness that the passing of Nyla Nicole Howell (Holly Springs, Mississippi) is shared. Nyla, born on October 15, 2003 in Southaven, Mississippi, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Nyla will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Nyla by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Nyla is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Nyla’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She is survived by: her parents, Nicole Washington and Antonio Howell; her stepfather Steve Hannah; her siblings, Teriny Prowell, Rodney Brown Jr. and Antonio Howell II; her grandmother Dorthy Jean Howell; her aunt Sharon Ann Howell; and her pet Remy Mona. She is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, classmates, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Home Chapel (140 N Memphis St, Holly Springs, MS 38635). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the New Dimension Salt & Light Ministries (565 Neely Ave, Holly Springs, MS 38635).
