She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Clark Fowler and Loraine Hopkins Fowler; the father of her children Bobby Taylor; her husband Billy Sexton; her daughter Brandy Gilbreath; her brother James Fowler; and her brother-in-law Jerry Dunaway.

She is survived by : her great grandchildren, Isabel Chapman, Lily Vega and Laila Vega; and her siblings, Linda Dunaway, Johnny Fowler (Donna) and Tommy Fowler. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
