He is survived by: his children, Elaine Hopkins of Walnut and Tranton Stephen Jackson, Jr. (Susan) of Horn Lake; and his siblings, Brunell Hopper of Walnut, E. C. Jackson of New Albany, Wayne Jackson of Walnut and Hank Jackson of Walnut. He is also survived by his two children, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and seventeen great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home (1011 City Ave N, Ripley, MS 38663).
