She was predeceased by : her parents, Calvin Shempert, Sr. and Faye McGee Shempert Jackson; her siblings, Danny Joe Shempert, Cecil Shempert, Calvin Shempert, Jr. and Wanda Ellis; her siblings-in-law, Bobbie Shempert and Joe Ellis; her niece Machala Shempert; and her great-nephew Nathan Laster.

She is survived by : her husband Larry Langford; her children, Jessie Lee Shempert (Shelia) of Eupora, Lisa Jeter (Rodney) of Nettleton and Maranda Capps (Jimmy) of Houlka; and her siblings, Clayton Shempert (Elizabeth) of Woodland, Chester Shempert (Marylin) of Spokane, WA and Vanessa Bivins of Vardaman. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
