He was predeceased by : his parents, John William Denton and Ethel Denton; his wife Maxine Gann Collums Denton; and his former life partner Carnell Massey. He is survived by : his children, Donald Logan (Karen) of Semmes, AL and Angie Minor (Dale) of Houlka; his grandchildren, Lisa Logan (Tom), Bradley Gentry and Isaac Cleamons; and his stepchildren, Billy Joel Collums, Jr. of Houlka, Judy Paden of Houlka, Donna Jo Jarvis (Cliff) of Houlka, Lynn Bryant of Houlka, Lisa Linton (Patrick) of Verona and Tina Pullen (Tony) of Houlka. He is also survived by 15 step grandchildren and 23 step great-grandchildren.
