He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Ward Earp and John Sydney Earp; his son John Michael Earp; and his siblings, Beatrice "Bea" Moss, Martha "Boots" Mooneyham, Rose Margaret "Sis" Burgess, Thomas "Tom" Earp Sr. and Ben Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Earp of Houlka, MS; his children, Tawanna Earp of Houlka, MS and Nick Earp (Savannah) of Houlka, MS; his sister Ann Bean (Eddie) of Waynesboro, MS; his grandchildren, Garren Earp, Gavin Earp (Mallori), Gage Earp (Shay), Kaine Duncan, Deacon Duncan and Oliver Stone; and his great grandchildren, Elliette Joann "Ellie" Earp and John Nelson Earp.
