She is survived by: her children, Laquentin Mitchell, Whitney Gordon of Houlka and Arthur Gordon (Christina) of Tupelo; her grandchildren, Isaac, Majesty, Arlo and Christlyn; her siblings, Patricia Wright (David), Louis Mitchell and T. C. Gates (Vernessa) of Houston; her adoptive daughters, Victoria Scharklet of Nashville and Gwendolyn Suggs of Saint Louis; her siblings-in-law, Jessie Gordon (Barbara), Charles Berry of Houlka, Stacy McShan (Renee) of Beloit, Janice Clark (Ollie) of Beloit, Barbara Hurd (Terry) of Pontotoc, Marquita Gordon of Chicago and Chandra Spright (Sandy) of New Albany; and her father-in-law Mac Arthur Gordon of Chicago. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
