He is survived by: his wife Frances Whitt of Illinois; his children, James Ashton Whitt (Kiersten Bell) of Illinois, Joshua Irby of Mississippi, Douglas Smith (Cynthia) of Eupora and Aubri Purvis (Austin Griffin) of Pachuta, Mississippi; his siblings, Tim Dobbin of Houston, Jimmy Dobbins of Houston, Diane Staten (Ricky) of Aberdeen and Gwen Dobbins of Ackerman; and his grandchildren, Hayden RaeLynn Whitt, Ava Irene Irby, River Mikail Irby, Kaleb Smith, Karson Zane Proctor, Kyler Dominic Proctor and River James Griffin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
