It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Dean Blansett of Houston, Mississippi, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Eursy Blansett and Maylene Stafford Blansett; and his siblings, Bobbie Malone and Harvey Blansett. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Duncan Blansett of Houston; his daughters, Cathy Jernigan (Ed) and Debra Johnson (Johnny); and his sister Sue Ray of Houston. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
