He was predeceased by: his father Buren Durell Whitt; and his wife Shirley Kay Gable Whitt. He is survived by: his son Josh Whitt (Destiny Tutor Whitt) of Houston; his granddaughter Blakelynn Ann Whitt; his siblings, Danny Whitt of Houston and Lisa Lindsey (Brad) of Mooreville; and his siblings' children, Alivia Lindsey of Mooreville and Jonathan Whitt of Houston.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (334 E Madison St, Houston, MS 38851). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at the same location.
