We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2024, at the age of 76, Carol Ann Burgess (Houston, Mississippi), born in Carthage, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Hubert Watkins and Edna Sanders Watkins; her sister Tammy Quitt; and her stepmother Carol Watkins. She is survived by : her husband Leon Burgess; her daughters, Nina Black of Thorn, Pam Burgess of Thorn and Misty Burt (Garland) of Thorn; and her siblings, Billy Watkins, Robert Watkins, Danny Watkins (Gayle), Brenda Brassfield (Jamie) and Nicole Scola (Lawrence). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
