She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alfred Brown and Maggie Elisbeth Heair Brown; and her son Jesse Richard Brooks, III. She is survived by: her son James William Brooks (Brooke) of Tupelo; her grandchildren, Jesse Alysse Brooks, Sawyer James Brooks and Nancy Evelyn Brooks; her siblings, Thomas A. Brown (Joy) of Pontotoc and Lisa Brown Breland of Petal; and her siblings' children, Ronnie Brown of Pontotoc, Allen Brown (Leslie) of Blue Springs, Jennifer Humphries (Toby) of Hamilton, AL, Patti Belcher (Nick) of Hamilton, AL and Brianna Howard (Scott) of Petal.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (334 E Madison St, Houston, MS 38851). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at the same location.
