With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edwin Hancock of Houston, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edwin Hancock and Myra Etta Rhodes Hancock; his son John Kevin Hancock; his sister Linda Ann Hancock Hollingsworth; and his nephew Philip Ashley Hollingsworth.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda McQuary Hancock; his son Gary Lee Hancock (Mary Pat Hancock) of Tupelo, MS; his grandchildren, Hilary Claire Hancock Dodd (Colby Dodd) of Haleyville, AL and Hayden Miller Palmer (Madison McCollum) of Tupelo, MS; his great grandchild Hayward Banks Dodd of Haleyville, AL; and his brothers, Jerry Linn "Jake" Hancock of Woodland, MS and Robert Lee "Bob" Hancock (Divinia) of Houston, MS.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other family members.
