She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Odell Hickman and Belia Louise Odom Hickman; her husband Bobby Lee Hicks; her brother Kelly Hickman; her son Tommy Lee Hicks; and her grandson Jason Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Lynn Hicks (Alice) of Bethlehem, PA and Angela Ackerman (Lee); her sisters, Harolyn Hatley of Columbus, MS and Sandra Weeks; her granddaughters, Sarah Ackerman and Laura Hendrick; and her great grandchildren, Eden Opal, Walker Redding, Dylan Anthony Hicks and Jason Eli Hicks.
An excellent cook, she also enjoyed gardening and tole painting, and she was highly active in the American Cancer Society, United Way, and the Pilot Club of Aberdeen.
