He is survived by: his wife Reba Fae Chapman Bevels; his children, Retha Thomas (Mark) and Charles Bevels (Angelia); his grandchildren, Justan Vance (Emily), Kelli Burns (Chris), Haley Johnson (Chad), Carley Preston (Justice) and John Allen Bevels; his great grandchildren, Justan Collin Vance, Jr., Everleigh Joy Vance, Ruthie Jane Burns and Alice Rene Burns; and his brother William Bevels (Lizzy). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
