She was predeceased by : her parents, George Anderson and Mattie Anderson; her daughter Sherry Vance Heair; her former life partner Jimmy Farrell Dodson; and her siblings, G. W. Anderson, Helen Ashley and James Anderson.
She is survived by : her husband David Vance of Houston; her children, John Dodson (Patty), Hulon Vance (Anita) and Joy Soden (Bobby); her brother Lonnie Anderson of Lake Village, Ark.; and her grandchildren, Kendra Jelaine Dodson, Kaylin Janae Dodson, Derick Vance, Dalonna Brassfield, Rebecca Taylor, Hannah Heair, Michaela Christian, Rachael Brown, Dustin Soden, Kimberly Sanford, Elizabeth Smith and Victoria Swafford. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
