He is survived by: his wife Delores "Dee" Long; his children, B. J. Long of Houston, Andrew Long (Jessica) of Houston and Chelley Patterson (Rich Davis) of Amory; his sister Margie Wooldridge of Meridian; his sister-in-law Maxine Long of Houston; and his grandchildren, Shayne Verell (Brianna), Josh Verell (Boo), Thomas Verell (Sam), Dylan Long, Blake Long, Alec Long (Brooke), Tristin Patterson of Haley Patterson, J. D, Jon Thomas Long and Richleigh Davis. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
