He was predeceased by: his parents, Olan Jefcoat and Arcola Stringer Jefcoat. He is survived by: his wife Joan Jefcoat; his son Bryan Jefcoat (Rochelle); his grandchildren, Cohen Jefcoat, Kelyn Evans and Bryn Aubry (Chase); and his great grandchildren, Davy Evans and Elijah Aubry. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Movella Missionary Baptist Church (175 Movella Church Rd, Lucedale, MS 39452). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Movella Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (175 Movella Church Rd, Lucedale, MS 39452).
