He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Clark Ervin of Indianola; his children, Jason Ervin of Canton and Jennifer Ervin Horner (Matt) of Indianola; his siblings, Paul Ervin (Sharon) of Inverness, Pat Ervin of Indianola, Ann Banks (Ricky) of Greenwood, Mary Lee Branan (Otto) of McComb and Teresa Grissette (Ricky) of Indianola; and his pet Felix "FeFe".
