With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cassandra Joyce Read of Indianola, Mississippi, who passed away on November 17, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kerry Read and Arvah Read; and her brother William "Billy" Read. She is survived by: her siblings, Libby Edwards (Jim) of Indianola and John Michael Read (Kris) of Horn Lake; and her nieces and nephews, Mandy McCarty, Angel Anderson, Jennifer Morgan, Michael Read, Donna Embry, Stanley Embry, Dawn Embry and Derrick Reed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude.
