He is survived by: his sister Nancy Woods (Jim) of Indianola; his sister-in-law Jane Frey of Southaven; his nieces and nephews, Mary Lynn McPherson, Lori Thomas (Wes), Flip Godfrey (Dawn) and Chip McElmurray (Dodie); and his pet Pistol.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (205 2nd St, Indianola, MS 38751). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133).
