He is survived by: his children, Marx Dewayne Williamson, Jr. of Byhalia, Celia Williamson of Merigold, Susan Williamson Giglio (Cousie) of Indianola, Beth Williamson MacLeod (Kempton) of Indianola and Matt Williamson (Tracey) of Indianola; his siblings, Faye Williamson Britt of Laurel, Arlis Williamson (Biddy) of Springdale, AR, Ann Williamson Hardy (Darry) of Cleveland, Joy Williamson Martin (Ronnie) of Magnolia, TX, Meredith Williamson Powell of Cleveland and Cindy Williamson Polastro Borthwick; his siblings-in-law, Ray Jones of Amory and Brenda Abel Griffin of Greenwood; his grandchildren, Anna Rachel Williamson Cox (Hunter) of Madison, Ashley Giglio Lucas (Michael) of Jackson, TN, Rebecca MacLeod of Southaven, Mattie Beth Williamson of Indianola, Emma Kate MacLeod of Indianola, Noah MacLeod of Clinton, Abel Williamson of Indianola and Levi Williamson of Indianola; and his great grandchildren, Cade Cox, Cain Cox of Madison, Roman Lucas and Rhodes Lucas of Jackson, TN..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Eastwood Baptist Church (549 Dorsett Dr, Indianola, MS 38751). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Williamson Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mr. Williamson's memory to Bethany Baptist Church, 37 Bethany Church Road, Merigold, MS 38759 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
