It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Coleman of Itta Bena, Mississippi, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hammond and Juanita Courtney Coleman; and his brothers, Frank Lee Coleman and John Courtney Coleman. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Mae Bolton Coleman; his children, Margaret Juanita Coleman of Houston, Texas and Jacob Allen Coleman (Sarah) of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Caroline Elizabeth Coleman and John Allen Coleman; his siblings-in-law, Linda Sanders Coleman, Carolyn Crawford Coleman and Harold Bolton; and his sibling's children, Frank Lee Coleman, Jr., Leah Rose Coleman and Sherry Wylene Coleman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Itta Bena (301 Main St, Itta Bena, MS 38941).
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Itta Bena, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Pillow Academy, or the charity of donor's choice.
