He is survived by: his wife Bette Welch; his son Mike Welch (Edwina); his granddaughter ReAnna Barnes (Jeromy); his siblings, Elmo Welch, Dorothy Welch McDuffy and Mary Welch Burlson (Clarence); and his sisters-in-law, June Welch and Blondia Strachan. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
