He is survived by : his wife Martha Gist; his children, Tracy Gist Wimbish (Robert) and Michael Curtis Gene Gist; and his granddaughters, Sarah Whitlee Wimbish, Molly Kathryn Wimbish Salinas (Genaro) and Kaylee Gist Winters (Jacob). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
