He is survived by: his children, Zach Whitlock (Amanda), Jacob Whitlock (Lindsey) and Salome Williams (Stephen); his siblings, Paul Whitlock and Barbara Hathcock; and his grandchildren, Audrey Williams, Elisabeth Williams, Meredith Williams, Ava Whitlock and Jackson Whitlock.

Memorials may be made to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund or the Backpack Ministry of Tishomingo County.
