He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Ray; his stepson Charlie Sanders; and his sister Delores Ray. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Jackson (Joseph), Pam Bonds, Carol Walton, Dahndray Bonds, Herbert Bonds (Toundra), Corey Bonds, Zachery Bonds and Deval Sanders (Sondra); his siblings, Minnie Granillo, Teresa Prickett, Paul Ray and Mike Nelson (Julia); and his friend Kenneth Carter. He is also survived by his 21 grandchildren, several other great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
Memorials may be made in Mr. Bonds' honor to the National Kidney Foundation.
