He was predeceased by: his son Eric Capps; his parents, Artie Capps and Dixie Smith; and his brother Lenny Capps (Linda). He is survived by: his stepdaughter Cristie Gaston (Calvin); his stepgrandchildren, Shelby Gordan (Levi), Shanna Hatfield (Dustin), Nikki Duda and Brandon Duda; his niece Carisea Clendenin (Mark); and his nephew Roger Wilson. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
