She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Searcy Burcham and Harvey Ray Burcham; and her siblings, Harold Burcham, James Burcham and Sarah Margaret Alexander.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa McGaughy; her grandchildren, Jason Bumpous, David Bartlett, Daniel Giles, Stephanie Rainey and Esther Giles; and her brother Ronnie Burcham. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
