She was predeceased by: her father George Elmer Umfress; her husband Lyonel "Cotton" Wade; her parent Virlon Cleo Timbes; her brother Lamar Umfress (Ollie); and her siblings-in-law, Jack Sims, Doyle Wade (Lottie), Jim Wade (Charlene), Myra Wade Underwood (David), Harold Dean Wade, Hoyt Wade and Darrel Wade.
She is survived by: her son Mike Wade (Linda); her grandchildren, Brad, Robyn (Nico) and Kassie; her sister Mae Sims; her siblings-in-law, Vonceil Enlow, Beth Wade, Joan Wade and Mackey Wade (Margaret); and her nieces and nephews, Andrea Fritts (David), Sherrill Umfress (Cindy), Teresa Dawson (Kim), Sandra Wadkins (Frank) and Sam Umfress (Janel). She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Iuka Church of Christ (800 Battleground Dr, Iuka, MS 38852). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Maxine's honor to the charity of donor's choice.
