She was predeceased by: her father George Elmer Umfress; her husband Lyonel "Cotton" Wade; her parent Virlon Cleo Timbes; her brother Lamar Umfress (Ollie); and her siblings-in-law, Jack Sims, Doyle Wade (Lottie), Jim Wade (Charlene), Myra Wade Underwood (David), Harold Dean Wade, Hoyt Wade and Darrel Wade.
She is survived by: her son Mike Wade (Linda); her grandchildren, Brad, Robyn (Nico) and Kassie; her sister Mae Sims; her siblings-in-law, Vonceil Enlow, Beth Wade, Joan Wade and Mackey Wade (Margaret); her nieces and nephews, Andrea Fritts (David), Sherrill Umfress (Cindy), Teresa Dawson (Kim), Sandra Wadkins (Frank) and Sam Umfress (Janel); and her close friend Bobbie Sparks (Haskell). She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Memorials may be made in Maxine's honor to the charity of donor's choice.
