She was predeceased by: her parents, Inez Davis and Lee Bell Davis; her husband Hulcy McManus; and her siblings, Richard Davis, O'Neal Davis, Odel Davis, Leon Davis and Varnell Davis.

She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Dawson; her son-in-law Shawn Dawson; her grandson Austin Dawson; and her siblings, Lola Kay and Allie "Jean" Lovelace.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ludlam Funeral Home (76 Co Rd 187, Iuka, MS 38852). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel (76 Co Rd 187, Iuka, MS 38852). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the TBD Cypress Grove Cemetery.

Her contributions to the community were later recognized when she received the special honor of lighting the Downtown luka Christmas tree.
