We are sad to announce that, on March 30, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Richard Wixom (Iuka, Mississippi), born in Pensacola, Florida. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wixom and Mary Wixom; and his brother Patrick Wixom of Savannah, TN.. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Brian Wixom, Bradley Wixom (Dawn), Katie (Eric), Veronica Degraw and Richard Williams; his grandchildren, Holly Steen (Brandon), Megan Owens (Josh), Anna Kellogg (Kip), Emily Stafford (Jacob), Neil Wixom, Izzy Miles, Robbie Wixom and Levi Miles; his great grandchildren, Benjamin Stafford, Jude Steen, BrookLyn Owens, Kinsley Kellogg, Ava Steen, Mila Kate Stafford, Jaxson Owens, Jonah Owens and Nicholas Kellogg; his niece Calista Burleson; and his cousin Kreg Headrick.

The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the victim fund of Hurricane Helene.

“I just came across Rick's obituary tonight. We attended North Dakota State School of Science together in the mid-70s. I met him at a house party once; we chatted a bit and went our ways. Later in the night Rick came over, told me how fun it was to meet me and talk. He took a silver wrist band off his wrist and handed it to me. He wanted me to have it. I still have it somewhere in my things and every time I come across it I think of that nice guy with the great hair. RIP Rick....”
