She was predeceased by: her parents, J. B. "Tobuck" King and Margaret Scott King; the father of her child Allen McBee; her husband Jay Kerby; and her sister Barbara Cooper.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam Emmons (Lieutenant Commander Mark); her brother Lucian King (Renee King) of Byhalia, MS; her stepchildren, Jennifer Aracri of Lilburn, GA, Colonel Jeff Kerby and Trish Kerby of Murfreesboro, TN; and her great grandchildren, Daniel Emmons, Lincoln Harris, Josephine Mae Emmons, Carson Kerby and Jack Brooks.
