He was predeceased by : his former life partner Isabell Barber; his wife Shirley Barber; his parents, Stephen Thomas and Sarah Ethel Faulkner Barber; his children, Sandy Barber and Lisa Mikos; his grandchildren, Robbie Hutchings and Drew Hutchings; and his brother Joe Darrel Barber.

He is survived by : his children, Brina Stiefelmayer (Gene), Debbie Schultz (Mike), Rob Hutchings (Leah) and Dr. David Hutchings (Tammy); his grandchildren, Jakob Stiefelmayer (Eden), Noah Stiefelmayer, Maegan Schultz, Jessica Schultz, Brittany Gerlach (Brandon), Kristian Kantrovich (Matthew), Jeffrey Mikos (Ashley), Shelby Hutchings, Alaina Hutchings, Molly Hutchings, Jackson Hutchings, Preston Hutchings and Audrey Hutchings; and his niece Beth Jones (Andy). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
