He was predeceased by: his brother Billy Charles Brown (late Mary Helen). He is survived by: his wife Missionary Freda Jean Brown of Prentiss, Mississippi; his stepmother Mother Della Brown of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; his daughter Milissa Gaither (Joseph) of Midlothian, Texas; his granddaughters, Kimberly Williams (Will) of Brandon, Mississippi and Angela Tornes of Houston, Texas; his sons, Stanley Hayes Brown (Bobbie) of Braxton, Mississippi, Anthony Brown (Tasha) of Arlington, Texas and Shaft Vondell Brown (Krystal) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; his grandson Carl Sims, Jr. of Jackson, Mississippi; and his brothers, George Allen Brown, Jr. (Jewel), Roland Brown (Bobbie) of Prentiss, Mississippi, Willie Brown (Margie) of Oakvale, Mississippi and Johnnie Mack Brown of Prentiss. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
